Riverwood Gardens Harvest Day - Sat 19th May 2012
Produce from the Community Harvest will be available to share with gardeners, local residents, and friends of the gardens.
Special cooking demonstration of garden veges in traditional recipes will be a feature. Morning tea will be served - bring something to share if you can - especially your own produce.
9 to 10.30am this Saturday 19 May at the Riverwood Community Gardens. The gardens are located in the wetlands - to the left - behind the Community Centre - 151 Belmore Road, Riverwood.

Centre, 27 Munda Street Randwick.

- Example of a public park/food education facility-the Permaculture Interpretive Garden
- Retrofitted community centre-energy and water efficiency
- Water Wise Trail
- Randwick Environmental Park, a 13 hectare patch of remnant Eastern Suburbs Banksia Scrub with an ephemeral wetland currently full of water.

- 2:00 Tour of the Hub
- 2:30 Setting up discussion circle groups
We'll use an Open Space process to work out what we'd all like to discuss or share for the rest of the afternoon then we'll break into small discussion groups to network and share with each other. We'll have time to rotate around two discussion circle tables for the rest of the afternoon.
So bring your questions, answers and stories to share with others for
the afternoon.
